LED Lamp Gel nails
Yesterday we obtained these email from a colleague here at Allure:
"on the weekend I was on salon getting my locks done as well as the woman shampooing my hair stated she always gets a gel topcoat on her behalf manicures—JUST the topcoat is the gel. She said like that you do not have the limited shade selection of fits in, it generally does not take anymore than a reg manicure + drying out time, therefore comes down quickly, somewhat filing (perhaps not the crazy reduction procedure when you've got color + topcoat in gel kind)."
My very first idea ended up being, Wow, exactly what a good technique! But the even more I was thinking about any of it, the more this method seemed too good to be real (also the security of gel manicures remains debatable, until further scientific studies are available). And so I emailed manicurist Elle to make the journey to the base of it. Here's what she stated: "it does not constantly work, therefore require plenty of determination to get it appropriate. With an everyday manicure, your drying out time on hair salon is mostly about 20 mins, but it in fact takes twenty four hours the solvents in regular polish to completely dry. If solvents are not totally dry, then gaining a gel topcoat is going to seal in wet polish. Or even the topcoat could only slip right off."
Elle did state that one could go back to the hair salon 24 hours later to get the evident serum cured together with your polish (not exactly a practical solution), or use an at-home solution kit (but we've never ever tried this). As well as in terms of reduction, yes, it'll be easier to take-off and less damaging towards fingernails given that itis only regular nail enamel in addition to the all-natural nail, and you also don't have to immerse all of them in pure acetone (that will be severely drying out). But actually, Elle published, there is no guarantee that this strategy is going to work. "you might be happy, however, if you never do it properly, you never have the benefits."
